When installing the light source in your lamp, you often screw it in, but pin sockets are also very common.

E-sockets are screw sockets.
G-sockets are pin lamps.
B-sockets are smooth and have a bayonet fitting.
The number on E-sockets indicates the diameter of the lamp socket itself. On G-sockets, it stands for the distance between the pins measured center to center on the pin.

You can choose from some common types of light sources:

150-250 lumens is decorative light that is part of general lighting.
250-650 lumens is light that is part of the general lighting in a room with multiple light sources.
650 lumens and above is strong light.

Choose the color of the light, measured in Kelvin:

2100K is warm white, slightly redder light.
2700K is the normal color.
3000K is warm white but slightly whiter.
4000K is neutral white light.
Above that is considered cool white light.
